BC Student and Teacher Exchange and Mobility Awards
NOW OPEN FOR APPLICATION: B.C. STUDENT AND TEACHER EXCHANGE AND MOBILITY AWARDS
For B.C. Grade 8-12 school groups and B.C. K-12 teachers
British Columbia’s Ministry of Education is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2017-18 B.C. Student and Teacher Exchange and Mobility Awards.
The Awards promote the development of intercultural skills and knowledge for B.C. students, and the strengthening of relationships with foreign partners (e.g., sister schools). Be sure to check out the details as more eligible destination countries have been added to this Awards program.
BCCIE administers the awards on behalf of the Ministry. BCCIE will be receiving and evaluating award applications, and distributing awards to successful applicants. The deadline for applications is NOVEMBER 30, 2017.
The Ministry of Education provides international education scholarships and awards to:
promote the development of intercultural knowledge and skills for B.C. students and teachers, and
develop and strengthen relationships with foreign partners.
For the 2017/18 school year, the following scholarships and awards are available. More information on the scholarships and awards, as well as application/nomination forms, is available through the following links:
The British Columbia Council for International Education (BCCIE) administers the scholarships and awards on behalf of the Ministry of Education. BCCIE receives applications and nominations, participates in the adjudication process, and distributes funding to successful recipients.
The scholarships and awards are administered taking regional considerations into account.
